- Start with a charge of 100% or nearly full (the last 10% often lasts the longest).
- Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as they can drain the battery.
- Close other apps running on your smartphone.
- Download the ‘Track + map’ you will follow before setting off, and make sure to activate the app’s offline mode when you start recording your activity. This will prevent the app from accessing the network to display map segments and will instead show the previously downloaded map sections.
- Put your smartphone’s screen on standby when you are not checking it during your activity.
- Pause the recording if you take a long break (for example, for a meal) and resume the recording when you set off again.
